Correspondence
We
all know what we want to say, but the problem is "how to
say it" in the most effective manner. We have years of
experience organizing your thoughts to write and present your
message effectively to your intended audience.
Most
technical companies, worldwide, have a staff that can communicate
technical information effectively in English, but in many cases,
their expertise is focused on their professional discipline
and
their written language skills are secondary. This is often true
of technical people whose first language is English, as well.
The
sad fact is that people react emotionally to what they read
and are likely to be distracted by the errors and may even reject
the message entirely if the language is awkward or has an "accent."
This
can be true for business correspondence as well as marketing
materials and web sites.
We
have many years experience editing material written by nonnative
and technical people to clarify the English text for an American
audience and the expertise to do so without disturbing the technical
content.
Even
when the product content is not technical and a translation
is grammatically correct, non-natives and/or nonresidents often
miss subtleties of local vernacular. (We have all been
amused by promotional material and instruction manuals that
were obviously written or translated by a nonnative using a
dictionary!)
(If
you require translation of materials from your language into
English, we also have a local network of translators available.)
We
have the graphic design, production, and marketing communications
capability necessary to take a project from start to finish,
including printing and distribution to an American audience,
as required.
